About Brendon Falconer

Brendon Falconer is the founder of Falconer Advisory, LLC and a financial services executive with more than two decades of experience in banking and financial services leadership. Brendon served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Old National Bank, a publicly traded commercial bank on the NASDAQ, where he partnered with the CEO and Board to scale the institution from $20 billion to $53 billion in assets.

Brendon Falconer’s tenure as CFO spanned three distinct macro cycles: the post-crisis recovery, the 2016–19 rate hike cycle, and the 2020–24 rate-shock and recovery environment. Across all of them, Old National compounded Adjusted EPS at 6.3%, grew TBV per share at a 4.8% CAGR, expanded Adjusted ROATCE by 120 basis points, and improved the efficiency ratio by 936 basis points, outperforming peer medians in a volatile rate environment.

At the center of that growth was a transformational $20 billion asset acquisition in Chicago, the largest in the bank’s history and a defining entry into a major metropolitan market. Brendon led the financial diligence, capital planning, investor narrative, regulatory relationship management across the OCC, Federal Reserve, and FDIC, and post-close integration of finance and treasury operations.

Brendon Falconer founded Falconer Advisory, LLC to provide CFO-level strategic counsel to community and regional banks navigating growth, M&A, and balance sheet complexity — drawing on direct experience doing exactly that at scale.
